Fight me if you think I’m wrong.Red army charging at German positions without guns and ammunition is a myth from Enemy at the gates.-Hitler was delighted when news reached him that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, also that meme when the axis is winning then Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and hindered any hope of axis victory is very inaccurate because people tend to forget that 90% of the time, Hitler was fighting against Stalin, not Churchill or Rosevelt. Potential history has a video about it I highly recommended it-Sherman tank is a death trap is a myth from a memoir on history channel, he was a tank liaison officer that never saw combat and wrote a memoir, then that myth exploded and became so popular that everyone believed the Sherman tank was the worst tank of the war before bob semple was even relevant. Also the thing with that German tanks are superior all around is a misconception, German heavy tanks have good guns are armour thickness doesn’t mean they are capable at anything, someone with a high iq isn’t capable at everything if that person does not know how to do this, math, science, etc (bad example but that’ll do) German heavy tanks broke down a lot and were really unreliable and are very expensive. They do well on the defensive because there are way more targets to shoot at with your powerful gun and armour to stop most shells from entering your tank. Also Sherman had one of the highest survival rates for a tank with less than 2000 killed in action, (mostly outside of the tank). Also frontal armour is up to 90mm thick, 10mm off from the tiger and thicker in the turret. Also Sherman’s can be easily modified and be fitted with even more powerful guns than its original 75mm that could penetrate the front armour of tiger tanks, also tanks are designed to support infantry not fight tanks. Also the German heavy tanks aren’t the best in ww2, in fact the is-2 isUpvote if you agree Downvote if you disagree and tell me why or you’re just a coward Also there are more topics to cover but I could only say so much via /r/HistoryMemes http://bit.ly/2WhtThg
