Nimses is a weird new place that can be our sub’s Americas

I’m your average history major and I like to browse Reddit, especially this sub. I only made an account pretty recently but I’ve been following for a while and many of us remember way back when this sub was still pretty close together, small, but well-knit. We’d make random posts about whatever obscure golden nuggets of history we’d find and sometimes try and one up one another, all in good fun. We still have some of that but it’s been washed over quite a bit.I always felt that we had something special in this sub and in many ways, we still do. However, just because that little spark’s dwindling now doesn’t mean it’s dead and far from it. From now on I wanna do my part in whatever way I can to rekindle that special spark that we once had in 2 ways. Firstly, I’ll do my part and post a new meme whenever I possible about whatever history meme I can come up with.Secondly, and the point of this post, I wanted to just highlight this new platform. It’s a relatively new domain, a new world for us to join in. One that I hope, we can carve out our own community of Redditors, enthusiasts, and memers. A place to be a part of and enjoy. A place to start anew, fresh and full of opportunity. I will be honest it seems a little excessive in the information it asks for though that may just be me, but in all honesty, I just thought this was a good place for us to explore and lay out our own little history meme bubble to live in. To have a few good laughs, post a good few memes, and bring our own flavour of fun and memes to this place. That and y’know, Deus Vult. PS: below I’ve just thrown a link to the site/app and a join link if you’d like to join. I’d probably just post history memes and stuff to have a good chuckle at and go about.
